Greetings Zydecat enthusiasts - long time no bulletin. Well there hasn't been a whole lotta extra activity to report to you but now there is!

Starting with
This sunday at Clancys our Feb Special Guest is Prodigal Zyde-son, Adam Gare (fiddle and extraordinaryvoice) - its hard to believe but it's over 12 months since Adam last guested with us, before he and fam left to live in Melb. once more.....well, he's back and will be joining us at Clancys this sunday (15th Feb , which is Kent's birthday(if you are wondering what to get him, he likes nice guitars)

Victorian Bushfire Benefit gig we are involved in on Fri. Feb. 27th at the Rosemount Hotel. We are headlining this multiple act event - it should be a great event for a very worthy cause - all proceeds to go to survivors of the recent Victorian bushfires. All details of this event on attached poster above.

Easter Thursday April 9th (performance time to be confirmed) we are making a rare appearance in Perth at the atmospheric Devilles Pad, Aberdeen St. Perth. We've heard good things about this place so we are looking forward to it and hope you can join us (more details and another reminder closer to the event). Extracurricular gigs involving individual members of the band include:
Tues. 17th Feb. at Perth Blues Club, Charles Hotel, North Perth - the Shirley Smith Blues Band - includes Zydecats Bill and Graeme, as well as surrogate Zydecat Bob Patient plus Russell Smith(guit.) and Ace Follington (drums) and featuring Shirley Smith (vocals) who is returning once more from Sydney.

Fri. 20th Feb. at Mojos in North Freo - United Nations of Reggae featuring the first appearance of Natural Reggae Beat (featuring former members of A2Z Reggae - Russell Smith, Murray Campbell and Bill Rogers plus Wayne Freer on bass).phew, is that it yet?.................hang on............who remembers Rio the sensational Balinese trumpeter who guested with us quite a few times years ago (we think it might be approx. 7 years ago!) well he and his violinist wife (originally from Perth) Sally are gonna be here for a visit in March so we are hoping to organise a Clancy guest appearance - once it becomes a certainty we will let you know when.
