Big Event Zydecats at Clancys‏

Good ol' Clancys has been a going forever and Zydecats have been playing Sundays for most of it (this only a slight exaggeration)

Joe and John Fisher are celebrating 21 yrs of having Clancys with a week of celebrations in October, ending with a big bang with our Sunday session on October 25th.

It's going to be the biggest and best yet -the Zydecats Big Band featuring the splendiferouszydebrass section (Adam 'Lips' Hall (trumpet) and Wayne 'the Big Wind' Freer (trombone and tuba), sensational guest vocalists Adam Gare and Adam Hall plus Adam 'Fingers' Gare's uplifting fiddle and ......wait for it.....the return to Freo of longtime ex-Zydecats' rhythm section Konrad 'Big Baba Boom Boom' Park(drums & percussion) and Benjibassman Franz (bass & lap steel).

Plus the 2nd ever appearance of the mobile Charlie Brown Brass Band -featuring Wayne Freer(tuba), Adam Hall (tpt)& Mike Cartwright(trom) from Velvet Playboys, Bill Rogers (tenor sax), Ric Eastman(snare drum) & Lucky Oceans (National resonator guitar)from Zydecats and Elliot Smith (bass drum)

During the afternoon, several acts will be performing in the park at the rear of Clancys (for further info follow the link below) and just before Zydecats time, the CBBB will lead everybody inside with a bit of New Orleans street music to set the mood for what will be an unforgettable night.
